American and
Asian Indian Charitable Trust (AAICT) |
|
AAICT is a non-profit organization
creating change in the lives of children affected with cancer in India and around the
subcontinent.
In 2009, a group of
individuals in USA came together with the goal of setting up a world class
medical facility in New Delhi, India, to serve the Southeast Asian
community. To help start this initiative, a nonprofit
organization - American & Asian Indian Charitable Trust (AAICT) has been formed
in India as well as in United States.
Our vision, mission, values and strategy are very much a part of AAICT principles and are consistent with our strategic priorities.

Our Goals |
The intent of this US based organization is to promote the mission of AAICT in
India by raising funds, getting people involved, and promoting awareness of the
situation in the subcontinent.
- We wish to start out by sponsoring children in India who have Acute
Lymphoblastic Leukemia and are unable to pay for their treatment. This will
cover the complete treatment, prescription drugs, provide nutrition, and a place
for immediate family members to stay during the treatment.
- Our long term goal is to build a nonprofit children's hospital in India whose
mission will be to provide world class care and treatment to terminally ill
children in India and countries in southeastern region.
- A key endeavor of AAICT will be to formalize a tie up with a renowned children's
cancer hospital in the United States so that the facility in India may receive
help with treatment as well as in training its personnel in child cancer care
and treatment.
